Service Description:
|
Community health centre offers services for all ages including community programs and social work, physiotherapy, dietitian and kinesiology services
Community-led health teams develop programs to improve the social supports and conditions that affect long-term health
Programs include:- smoking cessation
- fitness and recreation - walking programs, VON SMART exercise program, pilates, chair fitness, basketball and pickleball at the Arena
- community food programs
- hospitality meals - dinners, community cafe, Grab' n Go breakfast
- Seniors Young at Heart congregate dining
- after-school program for grades 4-8
Scheduled appointments and programs delivered on-site by community partners - Ontario Works, legal services, diabetes education, mental health services, employment services, skills upgrading and financial counselling
