Eligibility / Target Population:
|
To be eligible:
- 65 years of age or older
- a Canadian resident for 10 years or more
- have lived in Ontario for the past 12 months or for a total of 20 years since turned 18
- currently receive the federal government's OAS and GIS benefits
- currently receive income that does not exceed $4,320 for single seniors or $8,640 for senior couples
- different rules apply if a senior whose spouse is under 65 or is not eligible for OAS * for more information, visit the website
