Service Description:

Community-based mentoring programs for children and youth to enhance development of social skills, self esteem and confidence * provides group programs and individual mentoring for young people from families where one or both key parents is absent or where there is a demonstrated need

Application:

Parents/guardians can call directly to initiate service * referrals also accepted from schools, health professionals and community agencies
|

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Children and youth aged 6-16 years
Mentors: Adults 18 years and older with police clearance and character references * must go through a screening and training process
|
