Service Description: Participating clinics across Canada offering an education and exercise program to individuals who are experiencing symptoms due to knee/hip osteoarthritis * aims to reduce symptoms, increase physical activity, and improve quality of life for participants

Program is delivered by trained heath professionals and includes:
  • 2-3 education sessions
  • 12 supervised, small group, individualized exercise sessions (twice per week over 6-8 weeks)
  • quality monitoring of the program through collecting participants' outcomes using online questionnaires 


Fees: Set fees by each participating clinic

"About Us"
The GLA:D ™ program was developed in Denmark and to-date more than 10,000 individuals have participated. Results have shown that participants reported less pain, decreased use of pain-killers, less days on sick leave and improved quality of life.
