Regulates the integrity and accuracy of trade measurement in Canada, to contribute to a fair and competitive marketplace * administration and enforcement of two Acts of Parliament:- Weights and Measures Act, RSC 1985, c W-6
- Electricity and Gas Inspection Act, RSC 1985, c E-4
Inspections include gasoline dispensers, propane dispensers, natural gas meters, electricity meters, and retail food scales
