Food safety:
- food safety inspections (restaurants, take-out, grocery stores, special events, schools, markets, etc.)
- responding to food premises service requests (food handling concerns)
- food safety education and awareness for operator requirements and the public
Environmental health hazards:
- education and awareness regarding health hazards
- risk assessment and investigation of health hazards
- heat warnings, cold alerts, and special air quality notifications
- inspections of congregate living housing
