Service Description:

Support to people and families who are facing life threatening or terminal illness, and to those who are grieving
Guidance, emotional support and assistance with pain and symptom management * in-hospital and community support is provided in partnership with VON Hospice Volunteer Program who offer caring companionship and respite * focus on continuing education for nursing team to specialize in pain and symptom management and end-of-life care * 2 palliative care rooms available to provide a comforting environment for patients and their families in the end stages of life
